Breakfast at Mark Twain offered a delightful buffet of cereals, fruits, and baked goods, complemented by freshly pressed juices. The cooked options were prepared on request, and I found the creamy scrambled eggs paired with smoked salmon and chives to be particularly satisfying. Dinner was a highlight, showcasing hearty Swiss-Italian fare. I indulged in their Alpine-inspired pizza, which was a delightful departure from the traditional, followed by juicy roast chicken, perfectly seasoned, accompanied by roast potatoes and well-prepared vegetables. The ambiance of the restaurant enhanced the experience considerably, making each meal feel special. Beyond the culinary offerings, the hotel staff epitomized attentiveness without being intrusive. Facilities for children and thoughtful amenities ensured that guests of all ages felt welcome and catered to. The tranquil spa provided a much-needed escape, where warm oils and local herbs offered a rejuvenating experience. The Riffelalp is a unique destination that seamlessly blends luxurious comfort with captivating culinary experiences, making it an unforgettable getaway for food enthusiasts and travelers alike.
